This one is bigger than the drawings I usually do. I've added this pic to give it a sense of scale. It was difficult to scan due to its size -- I had to scan it in about 8 different portions, then carefully stitch it together in Photoshop.

Incidentally, this is the first artwork that I have completed for 2012.

The hand was sketched in pencil first. The rest of the drawing was completely improvised, straight in ink.

This drawing completes the folio I had started sometime in mid-June. My goal was to fill it by August 31, 2011. I did have a head start on it, filling it about halfway with drawings I had previously completed.
